Professionally Polished, headed by Bayley Simmons, is on a mission to help safeguard and empower businesses to reach their maximum potential. She does this by showing you how to protect your most valuable asset: your workforce. Bayley earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA in 2010. She has several professional memberships, including Society of Human Resources Management – NOLA, Urban League of Greater New Orleans – Young Professionals and New Orleans Regional Black Chamber of Commerce.

 

Experience

For the past 10+ years, Bayley has worked with small to large size corporations and has seen it all. When handling the sensitive documents of an organization, including resumes, background checks, federal forms, union issues and performance evaluations, Bayley knows how to process and handle these issues in accordance with policies and regulations. Bayley also demonstrates emotional intelligence and the ability to stay calm and professional when approaching a team member experiencing a lower ebb in life.

Commitment

Bayley Simmons founded Professionally Polished, LLC in May 2019. The firm began as a career coaching enterprise that focused on helping jobseekers at all levels land their dream position. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, she saw the need to help businesses that did not yet have a strong HR function. Having worked mostly in Human Resources for small businesses, educational facilities, non-profit organizations, and international corporations, she is very familiar with executive compensation, staff training, recruitment, HRIS implementation, and more. She is particularly experienced in the areas of strategic advice to operational managers; directing the administrative functions of complex organizations; mediating disputes; and payroll and benefits administration.
